With a variety of game and bird species, Waterberg Wilderness - ONE Namibia is located 56 mi east of Otjiwarongo. This private nature reserve offers views of the mountain plateau and Kalahari plains. Guests can choose between three lodges: Waterberg Plateau Lodge on the mountain slope. Waterberg Wilderness - ONE Namibia Lodge in a valley and Waterberg Valley Lodge on a hill in the valley. The rooms are spacious and the beds are draped with a mosquito net. Each room comes equipped with a seating area, private bathroom and features a patio with views of the Kalahari plains or the mountain. All lodges feature a swimming pool and a restaurant with free WiFi and a fireplace. Guests can relax in the garden and enjoy the scenic surrounds. Activities include game drives in the Kalahari plains including close encounters with white rhinos, guided hikes to the mountain plateau and cultural tours at an additional charge. The Hoba Meteorite, near Grootfontein is within a 2 hours’ drive and the Etosha National Park is within a 4 hours’ drive.
