I dislike the fact that they would place rooms available for sale only to get to the facility and discover your booked apartment has been given out without any information. Now at the middle of the night I’m stranded when I actually booked this apartment. What then is the use spending time booking?!

Lagos is the centre of Nigeria economic hub. The achievements and great things people are doing in Lagos have motivated me to dream big and strive for greater heights in life. A lot of positive opportunities abounds in Lagos especially in my field of Real Estate.
I love everything about Lagos island; VI, Ikoyi, Lekki, Ajah, Ibeju and Epe.

So for international travellers, best to go to, Lekki, V.I, Ikoyi, Stay in apartments resorts, or international hotel. i.e Fay Pads. Then look for a guide/driver which the resort can provide for you. Plan all your trips in advance and hold hard cash, not too much, don't rely on POS, due to network shortages. Once you're prepared there is way too much to do and see only in Lagos, wake up early, hit the roads and eat in restaurants, don't be tempted to eat on the roadside or drink pure water, as your stomach might be sensitive to how it's prepared. Don't wonder far away on your own, always let others know where you're going, use fly over bridges when crossing even if there are others not using it. Don't walk or travel at night if at all possible. When going to bed, do a final check of all doors and windows. Lagos is very sweet!

A city bursting at the seams.
A city bursting at the seams. Still struggling from years of neglect and underinvestment. Poor infrastructure, poorly maintained and no evidence that it is equipping itself to deal with the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century. That said, people are really friendly and cope remarkably well with the numerous daily challenges the are forced to contend with.

I did not like that the Immigrations Officers try to cut my holiday short by one day; of my visa allowed and Air Ticket time. Then expect me to pay more to get a Visa extension.
My favorite place was Shasha Lagos State. But Lagos needs great Improvement to be more attractive and safe also for tourists. They need to clean up the streets, paint the buildings and build better roads and guttering. To stop rain floods water and giant puddles settling in the roads.
All this can provide jobs for the locals. And make the roads safer for the Locals; and improve travel access for local businesses, when a major city and town have good roads. Making it much easier to travel around LAGOS. And making the roads free from accidents and also safer for the locals and Tourists visiting in Nigeria Lagos.
I stayed in an apartment and we did our own cooking. My husband sometimes bought cooked foods in the supermarket. We drank bottled or boiled water. Kekes can be fun to travel and nip around Lagos in, the and yellow mini busses. I also use Ubers, but I avoid traveling on motor Bikes.
I did not get to visit any of the national tourist sites mentioned here via point 6 below, on this trip. As it I came to get married and spend more of a quality time with my new husband.
The property is close to Restaurants, Banks and shopping centers, easy access all road networks on the Island, The hotel staff are very welcoming and went on their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay. The front desk is top notch. super fast internet, complimentary breakfast for one… not to mention about the comfy bed. I will definitely come back again. I recommend Citilodge for all travelers looking for serene environment yet trendy shops around.
It was very clean and well located. The staff were also amazing, respectful and took good care of us. It was a special occasion for me and my man and the hotel decorated our room and gave us a gift with a sweet note at no cost whatsoever. It was really nice and we felt so special. Also, the food is really good and affordable. I’ll give this property a 10/10 over and over again! Got great value for my money.
I like the fact that the property is in a gated and secure community with a top notch security personnel. The uninterrupted power supply also got me wow despite the bad energy supply in the country. The staff are awesome. We literally relate like families. The apartment is second to none. I will use it over and over again in the future if I have any reason to visit nigeria.
Wow-what a great addition to the Lagos hotel scene. A boutique hotel in its true sense. Home away from home. Excellent cozy environment with fantastic bedrooms with comfortable beds, fast wifi, and friendly staff. The hotel just opened and is furnished in a modern and comfortable way. Three is an on-site restaurant with an innovative menu and dishes for different tastes.
Here are the things that I like about the hotel:
- Great and friendly staff
- Very clean, especially since it is a brand-new hotel
- They don’t request or accept tips
- Great service when requested
- Inviting fragrances similar to Westin in the US
- May be good for someone looking for quiet hotel with no “happening” vibes
The staff were really professional with their job, their services were really great, they were patient, understanding, and ready to help, they ensured I had a wonderful experience. They helped with directions to the hotel and also assisted me in getting directions to my destination. 10/10 customer service.
The property is beautiful both inside and out. It is very contemporary and spotless. The staff are polite, efficient and friendly. A special thanks to Esther the receptionist and Rachel her manager who made our stay so pleasurable. I will definitely stay at the Delborough on my next visit to Lagos .
The location is perfect. Ambience. I particularly like how proxy it was to where I was having my seminar, a 7 minutes walk from the hotel, which helped tremendously in avoiding the usual Lagos traffic. The staff were particularly courteous, the quality of food was nice (local cuisine).
I will not advise anyone to lodge at this hotel reason being that their rooms are very dirty, small, very small and smelly. It’s ridiculously expensive and the location is nothing to write home about. Have not stayed in a hotel like this in my entire life.
I have stayed at Nordic Abuja so expected same excellent quality and I was not disappointed. The hotel had a great vibe and everything was perfect and room rate reasonable considering inflation and hotel rates in Lagos.
I am a big fan of Blowfish and Vertigo. Great place to have a conference event, but at the same time enjoy the pool and food offer. Can say these hotels have it a lot. I took so many photos as place is so georgeous.
THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD AND DELICIOUS.
THE ROOM WAS NEAT AND TIDY WHILE THE COURTESY OF THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT.
THE SERENITY WAS SUPERB. I CAN SAY THIS IS THE BEST HOTEL HAVE STAYED SO FAR IN LAGOS
Had the most amazing stay at tge Lagos Continental Hotel. The hotel and facilities are 1st class. The staff were so helpful, warm and friendly. The food was excellent. Can't wait for my next stay.
