Burkes Pass Country Motels is a 15-minute or a 14 mi scenic drive from either Lake Tekapo or Fairlie, both of which offers a supermarket and range of restaurants. Mackenzie Pass and the Mackenzie Memorial are a 30-minute drive away. Being surrounded by mountains, there is no mobile phone reception, so guests are assured a relaxing stay. The outdoor dining area offers BBQ facilities and a picnic area, ideal for dinner under the stars.
