Sitting on top of the hills only 17 km from Taupo looking down over the lake onto Whakaipo Bay with Mt Ruapehu in the background. On the perfect days our sun rises and sun sets are magnificent. Featuring a modern house and large ensuite rooms, great shared family areas, indoor and outdoor fires you'll enjoy a warm and friendly stay. Enjoy the wide open spaces surrounded by other large blocks which peace and quiet and an abundance of bird life. Come out on a farm tour and learn about the animals, with a few of them been hand raised inside the house so they're extremely friendly. Holly and Dolly the sheep and Molly, Charolte and Charmane the deer. The morning feeding of animals in the buggy always provides great photos. There's a golf chipping green to practice on and a 2 person kayak to hire if the weather permits. We also have Sky discovery, movies and sport. Enjoy our Starlink wifi with super fast speed and mix and mingle as much or as little to your required needs. As hosts we have over 30 years local knowledge to help answer any questions you may have.
Welcome to Hilltop Whakaipo Estate. With cafe experience we have made plenty of breakfasts(our own fresh eggs and sausages) and make great barista coffee.(Locally roasted beans) We have a warm and friendly house and go to great lengths to make your stay enjoyable. Mix and chat in our lounge area in front fire and play with our lovely labradors Bear, Meg and Jess
Surrounded by lifestyle blocks it's a very peaceful outlook. With Taupo and Kinloch both 15 minutes away your spoilt for cafe's and beaches. Whakaipo Bay is only 5 minutes away and provides a great beach and swimming.
