Guests enjoy exclusive access to a private island from the lodge’s small boat. Each of the 3 bedrooms features an private bathroom. The open-plan living/dining area includes a fireplace and a large flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The large fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar. Separate laundry facilities are also provided. Set on 5 acres of native landscape, there are 2 tracks that lead uphill from the lodge to arrive at a pair of peaceful Maori Pa (defense settlement) sites located at each end of the property.
