The property is right on the river, with a pleasant courtyard. We stayed in the large air-conditioned room, which was was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were always ready to help but never pushy. The people of Bohol are amazing. They organized a private river cruise which left right from the property, and went to some small falls where we could swim, passing by the floating restaurant tours. We were accompanied and entertained by Jerris one of the most enthusiastic and friendly local students doing a work experience for school. They also organized a tour of the countryside in a tuk-tuk with Pedro. Great option to see the countryside close up with stops at zip line, chocolate hills, tarsier sanctuary, other animal sanctuary and waterfall for swimming. There is a restaurant onsite and their breakfast was good. One of us is vegetarian so we ate mostly at the restaurant next door which has a large vegetarian/vegan menu and fabulous food. Drinking water is available from water jugs anytime and prices for tours etc are reasonable.
Sitting on the banks of the Loboc River, the Loboc River Resort offers rooms that combine wood and local materials with modern comforts. It features a restaurant, bar, and souvenir shop.

I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit!
I would absolutely rate Loboc as somewhere to visit! We had the most fantastic time staying at The Water to Forest Ecolodge and hired scooters to visit the chocolate hills and explore various waterfalls (head off early and you'll probably find you have Pangas Falls all to yourself (it cost about 20pesos to access & had a shop selling drinks and snacks on the roadside). The scenery is absolutely stunning and the locals are just the friendliest we've ever encountered. A beautiful place, I feel very privileged to have visited.

Loboc was a great place to explore the sights of bohol and the loboc river. Quite far from Panglao / alona beach so don’t recommend basing yourself here if you want to do more beach stuff/ island hopping. Would recommend one or two full days in Loboc- you can do the chocolate hills and tarsiers in the same tour. Also Paddleboarding down loboc river was really fun. Evening Firefly tour was special too! Loboc river resort was a great place to base yourself- and the food in the restaurant amazing! Avoid the animal park/butterfly farm it’s cruelty! But do go to the tarsier sanctuary in corella as they treat the tarsiers better (or so the lonely planet says!) than other places.

Loboc is a very small town so two nights at the fox and firefly was perfect for us. There’s lots to do- we did Stand up paddle boarding, firefly watching, Tarsiers, Twin hanging bridge, mountain biking, Loboc eco adventure park where we zip lined and did the cable car and lots of exploring! We ate at the Fox and Firefly breakfast, lunch and dinner- the food is amazing!!! We used our moped to travel around, without this you would need a driver.

The place have a beautiful river.
The place have a beautiful river. Stand-up puddling is definitely “must to do”: you’re just in the middle of a jungle river, it’s calm and silent, you can only hear the sound of birds, light noise of the palm leaves in case of a wind blow and water splashes, when your paddle touches it’s surface. You’re in the very heart of island’s nature beauty, it’s all just around you!

Great place to stay and chill.
Great place to stay and chill. Loboc river is very beautiful and calming to travelers especially when you try the river cruise (we got to rent a boat to ourselves). It has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, places to eat, activities to try and many more. Travelling here is totally worth it!
Great place to stay! We found that accomondation by a local advice.
A quiet place in the middle of the jungle. The accomondation is offering a shuttle from bohol (panglao) airport or the bohol port.
We didnt use that offer, but next time we definitly would. Because it isnt easy to go al the moody way through the jungle even with teo backpacks by foot.
If you already have a scooter you also can come by scooter. But take care the road is only made for good drivers.
We loved our stay at Water to Forest Eco Lodge! We stayed in the dorms and they are clean, comfortable and private. The staff are lovely! They gave us great recommendations for places to visit on our scooter. The food is soo good. We did the combo firefly and sunset SUP tour with Arnell and had a great time. It was nice to slowly paddle up and down the river and watch the fireflies. I would love to come back next time I am in Bohol!
The stuff was incredibly nice and helpful, always smiling and willing to help. They arranged everything we needed; motorbike rental, transport to the port. The little cottages are in a wonderful spot, in the middle of nature and next to Loboc river. The restaurant has good food with lots of healthy options and at fair prices.

We loved the location at the river and the design of the hotel. Beautiful terraces and plants all around, very quiet. The staff and the owner were very friendly and professional. They are really taking great care of the hotel. We were in the most budget room with a shared bathroom (1 more room) and it was all fine.
The Hotel is right in front of the Loboc river. The staff is friendly and helped us with whatever we needed, such as giving directions to the places we wanted to visit, renting motorbikes (they have motorbikes in the hotel, although the hotel next door is cheaper).
Breakfast and meals are satisfactory.
Great area situated right next to the river. The staff was welcoming. The food was good. The resort also offered activities you can do like paddle board, biking, yoga, etc. They also help with our transportation since the area is secluded with not many shops or restaurants within walking distance.
We really can’t rate this hotel enough. We decided to upgrade our room and the hotel could have been more accommodating. Lovely pool, lovely staff. We accidentally left my father in laws walking stick in the taxi and they arranged for it to be driven to our next location. Really accommodating
Cottages in wonderful nature driectly next to the Loboc river. The staff is super friendly and they offer a lot of activities such as SUP-, mountainbike- and village-tours. The restaurant is amazing and has a lot of vegetarian and vegan meals. We ate there every day of our stay.
Super friendly staff who helped and gave advice. I was practically the only one there so I felt very welcome and even went to their house to have a traditional meal. Perfect location by the river and great value for money. Wi-Fi spot on and hot showers also.
this place had an adventure just getting there which was half the fun. the river was a joy. the views were spectacular. food was pleasant and had good variety. the walk to the rooms was a gardeners love.
A calm place, apart from sounds of roosters. Super nice hotel, especially Privilege space. Amazing garden. Villas with river view are amazing. Bathtub on terrace is great. Staff was helpful and nice.
all of it - though its close to the river and a lot of trees and plants but less mosquito. the place was well maintained and clean too. a lot of beautiful flowers and activities to do.
Close enough to town to walk but far enough that it’s not noisy, clean basic rooms, parking for motorbike and friendly staff. Loboc itself is a beautiful town
The view is amazing. The pool was refreshing. The location is only a 5 min drive from the main part of Loboc which is convenient if you have a scooter.
