I divide my time between Warsaw and Venice, where I run two independent galleries: Orac Gallery in Warsaw and A Space Gallery near the Venice Biennale. The apartment is located on Mostowa Street – one of the most atmospheric and historic streets in Warsaw’s Old Town. Just outside the window, you can admire the iconic red brick walls of the Barbican, glowing in the afternoon light and whispering centuries of history. From here, you can walk across a scenic pedestrian bridge to the other side of the Vistula River, where you’ll find a rare European treasure – a wild, unregulated riverbank, rich in birdsong and untouched nature. It’s a place to breathe deeply, sit by the water, or watch the sunset in peace. A short walk in the opposite direction leads you to Warsaw’s grandest monuments: the Royal Castle, New and Old Town Squares, parks, gardens, fountains, and countless historic streets.
