We loved the mountain top location, with wonderful views, and perfect peace! Our apartment was huge, very historic and characterful. We were looked after the staff SO well, thanks to Tiago, Lucia, Carlos, and Catarina! They delivered us a sumptuous breakfast each day, and also invited us to visit their other hotel, Malaposta in Cerveira. On site, is also the sculpture museum, displaying the very interesting works of Jose Rodriguez , which we enjoyed. The countryside and surrounding gardens and grounds are most relaxing, especially the lovely pool area! There are lots of interesting towns and villages to visit within a short drive. The Saturday market at Cerveira is huge, and well worth a visit. It was a privilege and joy to stay in such a special place! Thanks to all the team who looked after us! Highly recommend, and hope to return!

It is a fantastic escape and we just had the best time with our two dogs. The views are stunning, the place is special, we had a great room and the breakfast was in a beautiful room- not to mention that we had a generous breakfast with home made apple pie. Louis - the host - has been just super welcoming and helpful. He speaks four languages! The property owns as well a little dorrest, which is great to walk the dogs.

O convento fica situado num lugar lindo, com uma vista incrível para o curso do rio Minho a desembocar no oceano. Toda a envolvente está muito bem cuidada e apetrechada (piscina, zona de churrasco, p. ex). No jardim, obras de arte aí dispostas (e o museu tão próximo) acrescem à beleza natural do lugar. A arquitetura do convento é simples, mas acolhedora. O pequeno almoço oferece o básico, cumprindo com as expetativas. Uma pequena copa, disponível aos hóspedes facilita a preparação de refeições ligeiras para crianças pequenas, por exemplo. O funcionários são muito atentos e simpáticos. Sentimo-nos em casa.
