We are Julian and Sophie, a couple of 35 years old Belgians living in an old farm with our friendly dogs, cats, chickens and sheep. Julien worked in television and music as a sound engineer and then left Brussels to travel around the world for a few years. He decided to stop his path and change his life and to start a new experience in Portugal. Sophie studied political sciences and then worked for 10 years as a project manager in Brussels. She also traveled around the world in Asia and South America during one year before deciding to join Julien and the AME project. Our objective is to transform this former farm into an agro-touristic land based on everything related to sound (from the silent retreat to the electronic festival), healing (via yoga, reiki, stone therapy…) and nature regeneration.

Welcome to Agro Musical Energy (AME), a 20-hectare farm dedicated to nature. In the beautiful Alentejo, you can admire the magnificent view, swim in our little lake, walk between the fruit trees of our agroforest, enjoy the magnificent sunsets and stunning starry skies. Relax, meditate or do yoga on our beautiful wooden platform. Here, your only neighbors will be birds and wild animals. Each tent has its own private space and is furnished to accommodate two people. 1 - 2 pp = 1 tent ; 3 - 4 pp = 2 tents ; etc. 4 tents are installed on wooden platforms and 3 directly on the ground. We offer a magnificent wooden platform that will host your yoga, meditation or reading sessions, a little lake where you can swim, a shared outdoor kitchen, shared dry toilets and shared showers. The water is heated by the sun: it's cold in the morning and hot in the evening (always cold during winter). We have three dogs (Brownie, Pipoca and Rambo), 2 cats, 15 sheeps, and lots of chickens who will certainly come and say hello from time to time ;) Santa-Clara-a-Velha and its Rota Vincentina signposted hikes are a 10-minute drive away, the magnificent Santa Clara dam allows very pleasant swimming 15 minutes away, the thermal waters and hikes of Monchique are 40 minutes away and the magnificent beach of Zambujera do Mar is a 40-minute drive away. It is also possible to walk in the hills surrounding the farm and to take a dip in the small dam of the farm. - Pets are not allowed: we love animals and have three dogs ourselves, which makes it difficult to integrate new dogs. In order to keep the place calm and pleasant for everyone, we have chosen not to accept dogs. Thank you for your understanding ! - No public transport reaches the campsite. It's imperative to come with your own means of transport. - Access to the site is via a 2km dirt path.

AME (Agro Musical Energy), located in the Odemira concelho in Baixo Alentejo, is an agroturistic project with social, ecological and cultural purpose, following permaculture principles. The project takes place in a 20-hectare farm surrounded by valleys and cork oaks, with birds and animals as only neighbours. It is a place for lovers of nature, well-being, music and frequencies. We opened a small eco campsite in 2021. Our furnished bell tents and infrastructures face each other giving an impression of a little village out of the reality. It is perfect for any activities in nature, would it be to follow one of our training courses or to have a good time with friends away from the buzzines of the city. We have also transformed the entire land around the farm to create an accessible and practical vegetable garden and an agroforest of more than 70 varieties of fruit trees. Do not hesitate to come and visit it during your stay! Other works were carried out in 2022, such as the creation of an outdoor water reservoir near the campsite with its trees in contour lines that will protect us from the wind. Prfect for a walk or a swim!
