it’s the second consecutive year that our family spends holidays in quinta do caneiro and everybody, big and small, absolutely loves it. the house is beautiful, comfortable and very well equipped. the surroundings are breathtaking, beautiful greenery, large outdoor space and the river just a few meters away. it’s an idilic spot for a family looking to relax, have privacy and enjoy nature.

Located in Peneda-Gerês National Park, Quinta do Caneiro - Gerês is a tranquil and scenic villa with direct access to the Caniçada dam. The nature-surrounded property has many walking paths nearby. Featuring a fireplace, the air-conditioned villa has a full bathroom with spa bath, TV, DVD player, equipped kitchen and separate dining area. The property also has a balcony and a terrace along with a view of the lake, garden and mountains. Quinta do Caneiro's guests can use the fully-equipped kitchen to prepare their meals at their own leisure. The kitchen includes microwave, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine and dishwasher. The house also has a spacious terrace with barbecue facilities. Guests can relax in the outdoor garden, go hiking in the surrounding lush green areas or go cycling. Plenty of nautical sports options can be found in less than 10 minutes' drive from the house, such as canoeing, water-skiing, jet skiing and boat rides. The Gerês boiling springs are a 15-minute drive away. It is a 44-minute drive to the historical Braga, and its various cultural landmarks such as the famous Sé de Braga. Porto International Airport is a 75-minute drive from the Quinta do Caneiro.
