Company info

Architects Maja and Goran Dominko, who run the renowned and award-winning architectural firm Kubico domino architects, bought and renovated this estate in 2016. They worked in Ljubljana for many years and in London for several years. The renovation of homestead Pri Momi brought them back to Slovenia in 2019. Together with the help of other family members, they run the estate and offer visitors a special experience during their stay.

Property info

The household consists of several buildings. The main house is 150 years old and is entirely made of wooden beams, traditionally covered with dense mud, according to the architectural standards of rural architecture at that time. On the other side of Homestead are two beautiful apartments, each unique in its own way. Next to the house is a beautiful linden tree where you can sit in the evening or enjoy the sunrise at breakfast. In old Stable, on the other side of the yard, there are beautiful apartments, each unique in its own way. The first apartment, called Štala is refurbished from a stable for cows to romantic apartment with a vaulted ceiling, which, along with traditional rustic furniture, gives it a special charm. The second apartment, called Granar is located in a room with a mezzanine that was once intended for drying agricultural products. Beautiful, rustic, wooden ceilings on both floors fascinate every visitor. Each unit has 4 beds, a kitchen with modern equipment and a bathroom. The outdoor sauna and swimming pool is complementing the whole estate, making it a perfect getaway for your whole family and friends. ​

Neighborhood info

At the top of the hill, in an idyllic, mountainous area, there is a household PRI MOMI surrounded by beautiful forests. Renovated buildings offer plenty of pleasures in cozy traditional architecture, where even the most demanding guests will not remain indifferent. The estate is surrounded by a private property of 20,000 square meters, with its meadows full of flowers and a beautiful view of nature.
