A monastery experience not to be forgotten. The room is nicely renovated, clean, has a reasonable internet connection. Most of all, it is was unbelievably quiet. I was the only guest there, so it was an unique experience to walk the monastery corridors at night. Also, I had to catch up with some work on my computer while here and what usually takes me 6 hours needed here only 3 hours. So it is likely a high productivity working environment as well :)

A great opportunity to spend a couple of nights in this former Monastery. - such a peaceful location - I had the best night's sleep ever. Around 15 minutes walk from the centre of Kamnik, which is a charming little.town about an hour from Ljubljana. Helpful staff (I even got a pickup from the bus station, since I was running slightly late). Fabulous Balkan restaurant near bus station. - the best salads ever, that I felt they were definitely worthy of a mention!

The monastery is an exceptional experience to stay in. Its history goes back more than 700 years. The rooms are smaller, but brand new and modern, and the silence is interrupted only by the bells of the bell tower (not too loud) which is something that gives the traveller a very real feeling of what it was like when the nuns were still there. There is also a small kitchenette to be used by the guests. Parking is outside of the monastery right in front of the entrance.

Ruhiger Ort (6-Bett-Zimmer Bethlehem für fünfköpfige Famiilie) mit nettem Personal. Wer kein Hotel erwartet, sondern eher eine Unterkunft im Jugenherberge-Stil bekommt saubere Zimmer mit guten Matrazen und saubere (bei wenig Besucherverkehr), gemeinsam genutzte Badezimmer. Bezogene Betten und Handtücher inkl.. Wir waren auf der Durchreise nach Kroatien zwei Nächte hier.
