The beach directly in front of the hotel is dreadful but walk to the right about 6 minutes and you'll find a lovely beach. The airco in the room was quite cold and couldn't seem to be adjusted! We loved the breakfast and ate every evening at the hotel's restaurant as well, DELICIOUS!

Peaceful lace to stay with lovely white sand beaches and warm sea which is easy to swim in.
Depending on where you stay on the island, (there are lots of small beaches all good, ) will depend on what services are available. since where we stayed had several resorts we ate a a different one each night. Bear in mind though this is an island and all food supplies etc are delivered from the main land so choices are limited.
although you can hire a Motorbike we found that the taxi worked well for us we did an island tour by taxi but you can also do it by boast. Most beaches have a taxi station. There is only one village in Koh Samed near the main pier.

Limited attractions unlike some other islands I have visited. Taxis are quite expensive but easy to walk to bars snd restaurants via the beach Beautiful island and wonderful beaches but plastic washed up with the tide every day. Helpful friendly people everywhere.
Ferries are very busy especially at weekends.

This is a small island with lots of small beaches, we stayed at one but visited others. We did a half island tour by Taxi. This is a great way to see the other beaches and some of the scenic spots. The taxi costs between 1,000 - 20000 bahts so its best to go as a group to reduce the individual costs/ We also did a boat tour of nearby islands with snorkeling and lunch. Need some energy to keep getting on and off the boat..but a good way to experience the islands.
Be aware you have to pay to enter the island as its national park and to visit other islands there is additional cost so hang on to your tickets if you intend to visit other isalnds.

The beaches were beautiful, and water is clear lovely for swimming. The only disappointment was the rubbish you saw away from the resorts as it’s a National Trust island they should use the money they collect from visitors in making it look cleaner.

The island felt too crowded and too empty at the same time... Felt very tourist-y, even compared to Bangkok. More expensive, a lot of people. Even though it is a "small" island, it is not easy to walk anywhere, especially if staying at a hotel further away from busy location. I would recommend Rayong!
Loved the rooms. And the way they were spread out. Staff were all extremely good. Particularly Jee (F&B Manager), Kompak and Anny who immediately made you feel at home with smiles and help all week. No pool, but right on the beach with enough beds and loungers.
The eating area from lunchtime is by the sea and is very relaxing. Service can be a little slow but I think that is just a typical Asian thing. ( come on we’re on holiday and everything doesn’t need to be at top speed)
I would certainly go back to this resort.
Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! It was nice that they included breakfast. The business owners on this stretch of the island collaborate well so we were able to get into the sea from the neighbouring hotel (magnificent bioluminescence). The accommodation was right on the beach with a great view. The staff is very thoughtful; they lit mosquito coils outside our door and were flexible with breakfast timings when we were there.
The location of the property was great. We stayed directly on the beach and loved the accommodation. The beds were comfortable, AC worked great, the water sports (kayak, paddle board, surf board) and beach toys were great for our family to use. The staff were excellent and the location and beach were great. The pool was also well kept and easy to access from the beach and restaurant. We had a relaxing and fun time here.
All good. The staff is very friendly and helpful! By booking.com they were sold out for the whole period we wanted to stay and then in a quick call the manager sorted it out and then we could stay longer. The architecture is gorgeous, the hotel is very close to a hidden beach hahaha which is quieter than others but it's fantastic! Their breakfast exceeded our expectations!
This property is right on the beach and it's pleasant enough. However, it's very touristy and could've been the Costa del Sol, rather than Thailand. We got scooters and managed to check out some nicer, more secluded beaches. However, it's such a small island and the whole place was a bit of a tourist trap.
Will definitely use again when visiting ko samed I found the rooms facilities satisfactory to my requirements. The hotel is in a quiet location and a stones throw from the beach and they also rent motorcycles for you to checkout out the rest of the island.
The location and beach is very nice, there are good restaurants within walking distance. The beaches are very good. The hotel restaurant on the beach is romantic. A very good quality for the price. I will come again if I am back in Ko Samed.
The hotel offers great value of the property location where customers can prefer peaceful activities or walk a bit more for nightlife. The breakfast is moderate but the hotel restaurant Thai foods are superb. Staff are nice and friendly
Perfect location, really. Best beach on the island with white sand. Perfect restaurant just on the beach. I really like it. Great buffet breakfast (but be careful, only when 40+ people are in hotel). Quiet location, helpful staff.
The location is perfect for a quiet getaway. It's right on the beach but not too close to the other resorts in the area. The family bungalow with sea view was an excellent choice. Breakfast was decent.
