Bill, retired minister; Kay, retired RN. 3 grown kids, 9 grandkids. After 12 yrs of empty nest (in 2014), adopted 4 siblings - 1 now an adult with a daughter (our 10th grand), the other 3 teens. Lived in MO, IN, MO, & since '85 AR. In STR (short term rental) business since '19. We are hospitable, so we enjoy hosting. We do our best to offer our guests the best guest experience possible. We are happy to interact with our guests if they so desire. Otherwise, we leave our guests alone, but we are available to respond quickly to any guest needs. We have served our guests by providing help such as emergency dog sitting, care of hamsters, & transportation to the airport. We have invited guests into our home for a holiday meal when they could not get home to be with family, & have offered covered parking when hail was predicted. Besides hosting, we enjoy Christian gatherings, music, & travel, tho with kids in school, we can't travel much. Like most rural folks, we love our country & we are conservative. Consistent with our Christian faith & conservatism, we love & respect everyone.

Large bedroom with king bed, full bathroom with tub/shower, stack washer/dryer, living room & full kitchen with full-size appliances. 2 ceiling fans & 2 large flat-screen smart tv's & dedicated WiFi. Central H & A. Queen sleeper/sofa & twin rocker/recliner in living room. Sleeps 6. 4-plex & owner's home both located on 5 acres in a beautiful valley with a creek & pond on a private, dead-end road with minimal traffic. Nature sounds - owls, bullfrogs, coyotes, etc. EZ access to pond for fishing, swimming, or kayaking. Plenty of yard for kids & animals. Also plenty of parking & room for navigation of large vehicles. Property looks & feels very remote, but is close to "everything" - in the same county with, & only 20 minutes from, Little Rock. 3 WM Supercenters within 12 mi. Burns Park, largest city park in America, is 10 miles away in North Little Rock. Pine Valley Golf Course is across the road; many other golf courses nearby. Many attractions such as restaurants, theaters, concert venues, sports stadiums, hiking/biking, etc are within 30 min. LRAFB back gate is 4 miles. We offer quiet & safety.

Neighborhood info

In a beautiful valley with a creek & pond on a private, dead-end road. All neighbors are single family homes on acreage. Only traffic is neighbors, their guests, contractors, & delivery ppl. We can leave our house unlocked during the day with my wife or a kid home alone, & we have accidentally left our house unlocked at night, both with no risk. We've had some guests who have left their apt unlocked bc they knew it was safe to do so. We like living here bc it's quiet & safe, & we enjoy the natural smells, sights & sounds - lots of grass, trees, water, birds incl owls & geese, bullfrogs, deer, coyotes, etc. Our guests appreciate & enjoy the same. If you like getting away from the smells & sounds of the city, & you like at night enjoying the stars & the moon, you will like it here.
