This Arts & Crafts home was built in 1908 and is a brief walk from dozens of restaurants, shops, cafes and pubs. The home has 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, a double sized living room, lovely dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a den and huge outdoor deck. Each bedroom has a 50" Smart tv with a 70" Smart TV in living room. There are 2 king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms and two double sized sleeper sofas. The original hard wood floors have been fully restored, wiring and plumbing fully redone, but the original architecture has been retained. Outdoors, there is a 350 square foot deck with seating for 10, a grill and private garage for parking your car (with additional space to park 2 more cars on the parking pad).
I have lived in this same neighborhood for over 20 years and am just 6 blocks away if needed.
The Cherokee Triangle is an Historic Preservation district that has Cherokee Park on one side and the Bardstown Road business district on the other. One can walk to dozens of restaurants, shops, cafes, theatres and bookstores and also to a 400 acre park with walking trails, bike trails, playgrounds, baseball/basketball courts, fountains and a golf course. Downtown is just 2 miles away, Churchill Downs is 4 miles away and the airport is 5 miles. The city's best ice cream, The Comfy Cow, is a 5 minute walk. Three of the city's best restaurants are within a 5 minute walk (Lilly's, La Chasse and Seviche). More casual dining choices such as local favorites Ramsis Cafe on the World and The Bristol are also a 5 minute walk.
