I’ve have been to Lexington several times because my daughter went to University of Kentucky. Always enjoyed visiting because there is a lot to see and do. There is s good food scene and it’s a very clean city too.
Friendly and clean easy to get to attractions. Loved the horse theme because obviously were talking about Kentucky. Driving was a little bit of a pain due to construction and people paying too much attention to their phones. Otherwise great city to visit and beautiful scenery around the surrounding area.
Morehead seems like a small Kentucky town but it is a genuine university town that has many places and opportunities for any visitor. Make sure you eat at Pasquale’s on the main drag because it has been the restaurant everyone comes back to when they come home. Great food and inexpensive with incredible pizzas and Italian sandwiches along with fish and chicken. Great local place for the entire family!
Mammoth Cave was nice and so was Dinosaur World. The absolute best was Kentucky Down Under! Seeing and petting kangaroos was awesome! Also, watching Bonnie, the Border Collie, round up sheep was spectacular! Pretty Girl road on our card with us. Little Man loved the kids! Stetson wanted to play ball! Those are all Border Collie. We can't forget the 2 friendly cats too. The staff was very knowledgeable and approachable!
Miles and miles of fencing for beautiful green pastures. Big horse country! Lots of distilleries in the area. Kentucky Horse Park is a short drive from there. There's an interestingvair museum.
Bowling Green would be my favorite place to relocate to. The people are so nice and have always been. There's so much to do, and its never a dull moment. I love Bowling Green Kentucky!
Kentucky and itself is beautiful. This hotel is situated right off the interstate has plenty of options for everything around you. But these little towns down there are just adorable it is a great place for a few days away
What a blast from the past! This town is quaint and deep in history. We stayed in the Old Talbot Inn and I highly recommend it. The history of the inn and the tavern is really cool, if you are into that thing. The breakfast at the Talbot was really good, too. We did the My Old Kentucky Dinner Train and I highly recommend doing it at least once if you are in Bardstown. Also, Bardstown is the home to some distilleries, which we toured (I highly recommend doing this too!).
Lexington is Kentucky at its finest. It’s perfectly located for visits to Bourbon distilleries, craft breweries, horse farms and scenic byways. And Lexington is home to outstanding restaurants and cafes.
We arrived in the evening and had to make a run to he grocery store and pick up take out for dinner. The clerk at the desk was so helpful with directions to the local Kroger and the people there were very friendly..a young man let me take his spot in line! We then proceeded to Kentucky fried chicken in London Kentucky! We heard there was an archery competition going on the weekend we were there!

Unfortunately, the only good thing about this property was the location. Staying in Bowling Green, Kentucky, this location gives you easy access to I-65, as well as the main thoroughfare roads to traverse the city. There is a large amount of restaurants and shopping options in the near vicinity of the hotel. While this stay was simply horrific for my wife and I, it may differ for someone else due to location alone.

Great place to stay. Best value for a very clean and comfortable stay. Wish we would have known before our trip about this place. Would have booked it for one more night instead of the hotel we had already made reservations for in Louisville. Even though this was an older hotel, was far better and much, much less expensive. Definitely will stay here again on our next trip to Kentucky.

I liked this hotel- beautiful, modern, clean, comfortable....but didn't like the location. Its right by Western Kentucky University, so the parking is around the corner and it's a hike to get in, need a special parking pass to get in and out and tons of college kids walking and driving, so it wasn't very relaxing.

The location of this hotel was very convenient for the Kentucky Derby weekend. It was easy to get to, and there was ample parking available. It is also located in what seemed like a nice area with amenities nearby including a handful of stores and restaurants. The double queen room that my husband and I stayed in was clean.

An older hotel, but clean, roomy with very accommodating staff. Close to The Lex and University of Kentucky. Broadway is easy to maneuver. Go either way and you will find food, gas, stores, bars. A little off the beaten path from higher priced hotels downtown or closer to campus -- but worth it. I'll stay again.

My husband traveled to Kentucky on our way to visit family in Arkansas. We stayed one night and this hotel and the staff were wonderful. The hotel was spotless and the breakfast was excellent. Will make it a point to stay again if we get out this way.

Stayed in several hotels in Kentucky during our vacation and this was by far the favorite. The place is stunningly beautiful, so comfortable- excellent rooms, lovely atmosphere and great location near restaurants and shopping.

Good size room ; comfortable bed ; easy access coming in from Louisville. Close to Kentucky Horse Park. Average hot breakfast ; very crowded at breakfast as it is a large Hotel. Has an onsite bar and food , saves going out.

Comfortable and clean hotel room. Friendly staff. Adequate continental breakfast. Location very close to the Kentucky Horse Park. Fully met my needs as I just needed a place to shower and crash after a long day outside.

The bed was comfortable. The waffles were really good at breakfast. The shower was hot and great water pressure. We picked this hotel because of price and that is was close to the Ark in Kentucky and Ikea in Ohio.

The room was big, and the shower and bed were excellent! The price was affordable for this beautiful hotel!! If we ever travel through Kentucky again and need a hotel we will stay here!

The staff was exceptionally friendly. The room was very clean and spacious. It was the most pleasant hotel stay that I’ve had in the state of Kentucky. I will definitely be back!

Our room was super clean and the bed really comfy. Breakfast was basic but good and fresh. Our room was really quiet even with a full hotel of rowdy Kentucky Derby guests!

Hotel, room & dining facility were very good, as expected. The bonus was the bar, its choice of Kentucky Bourbon and the knowledgeable/helpful bar staff.

The only good thing about the hotel is the location. It was centrally located to just about everything; the University of Kentucky, Wal Mart, restaurants, etc.
