The room was excellent and location. We requested an area that was quiet because their was a Kid Rock concert in town that night. The staff was very friendly and we were able to have a room away from the elevators. Very grateful. We liked the food area and easy to pick up breakfast before we headed out for the day

Add to that a city where old buildings have been saved and the architecture and detail are gorgeous. I refer to this as a great vibe...a city with a lot of history and soul and it's nice to absorb that while there. That and the absorbtion of some of the finest bourbons to be had!!

Churchill downs derby museum was nice,Kentucky kingdom/Hurricane bay was nice (EMT on hand when my daughter got 6 bee stings from sitting on a unknown nest in tables) Cherokee Big Rock park was really cool,even if we got a parking ticket (6 other cars to and one got plates taken off)

This hotel was great. We have stayed in many different hotels and have found that Holiday Inn Express hotels are the best. We stayed here to go to the Louisville Slugger Factory and museum. Quick to get there from here. The breakfast was fantastic. Everything was clean.

Louisville is a very exciting city. There's art everywhere. It's a city rich in history. The food and bar scene is buzzing - make sure to make reservations. The River Walk is one of the best, it's got something for everyone. Walk across the bridge for more restaurants and bars. Treat yourself to a distillery tour. The museums are all worth a visit, especially the African museum #Roots 101. There plenty of parks and places to enjoy outdoors, Iroquois Park outlook has an amazing view of the City. Cave Hill cemetery is fascinating.
