This oceanfront property provides a glimpse of Midcoast Maine as it should be, offering direct access to a long and serene stretch of beach. This private home sits just outside the villages of Brooklin and Sedgwick, on a landscaped property crossed with short trails leading to the shoreline. It's a lovely spot for basking in the beachfront setting, driving up to Blue Hill, or crossing Eggemoggin Reach to explore Deer Isle. Acadia National Park is well within day-tripping distance as well. From the field stone exterior to the rear deck that runs the length of the house, this one-bedroom home is very much about its spectacular setting. Bring the provided chairs down to the beach in the mornings and come home in the afternoons to barbecue local seafood in the fresh ocean air. The portion of the house available to rent is the remodeled main floor, where large windows and glass doors bring the ocean into the living room, kitchen, and bedroom.
