There was a corner grocery store that had everything you needed. Coffee was great and my friends had a salad and sandwich that they absolutely loved. The subway was in walking distance and people were so helpful when we needed directions. The area was clean but the parking was not so great so we let the van stay parked the entire time and road the subway. We truly loved our hotel and the rooms were beautiful.

I grew up in Queens.
I grew up in Queens. It has the Mets, the Queens Museum, JFK, LGA, the John Bowne House, Flushing Meadows Park and the US Open, Little India in Jackson Heights, Mandarin Town Flushing, and the former bakery where Christopher Walken's parents worked. (It's no longer there.) Also, Uncle George's closed, but there are still some good Greek restaurants in Astoria. I recommend the Omonia Cafe for pastries. There's also PS-1 (MOMA), the Noguchi Museum, and the Socrates Sculpture Park. There's more, but when all is and and done, it's not Manhattan.
Good breakfast included in the cost of the room; efficient reception staff; spacious room with large flatscreen tv and excellent recharging facilities; lovely bathroom with large, easy to operate shower. The hotel doesn't offer restaurant facilities, but there are useful vending machines in the foyer dispensing snacks and (non-alcoholic) drinks.
Long Island City is a great place to stay as it's just a short subway ride from Manhattan and much cheaper.
We only used the hotel for an overnight stay before setting of for another part of our holiday. The hotel was perfectly good enough for a short stay. Location is convenient as it is close to the airport. We very much appreciate a free shuttle to Hertz where we were picking up our car.
Really nice and clean hotel with a beautiful view (6th floor room facing the Queensboro bridge) and friendly staff. Good variety at breakfast. Really attentive housekeeping and pleasant atmosphere. Close to three Subway stations, short ride to main attractions.
Great breakfast for my family for 4 nights.
I asked for water drainage repair but they kindly fixed it quickly.
I recommend this hotel for those who visit Queens.
