I had a fabulous upbringing on a farm in Zimbabwe, followed by 4 years at UCT. After 13 years of teaching I developed and operated 2 very successful guest houses in Tarragona Estate, Hout Bay. After a few years in Simonstown, I have returned to Tarragona estate, now offering 3 self-catering one bedroom suites and a large 2 bedroomed house with superb entertaining facilities set in an indigenous garden with wild pool, ideal for yoga retreats.

Kutali is set against the magnificent mountainscape of Myburg Buttress with Myburg waterfall ravine, the Ruyteplatz contour path and Tarragona walks on your doorstep. An ideal place to relax and unwind in tranquil surroundings with a choice of 3x one bedroomed units and Arum house being a spacious two bedroomed farm style house. The house, like all the other units, is tastefully decorated to make you feel comfortable and at home. Arum house is suitable for day workshops & small celebrations.

Neighborhood info

Set in a private Estate with 32x2 acre properties (some divided into 1 acre properties) below Myburg buttress where you can gain access to a variety of mountain walks including Myburg waterfall ravine. Hout Bay village is 6 km away which has great shops and restaurants (Massimos only 2.5km away as well as a Spar and small centre), a harbour with boat cruises, sailing and snorkelling facilities as well as canoeing and surfing. A weekend Harbour market. Walks and sightseeing from Chapmans peak and the start of a scenic drive to Cape Point, Noordhoek and Simonstown and Kalk Bay. The Constantia wine farms, also with great restaurants range from 7-20 minutes away.
