Numbi Valley is a wonderful example of off-grid sustainable living. There is one private guest cottage on the farm and Kath and Ross welcome you to enjoy their uniquely created space. There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside. There are scenic walks, cycling routes, fresh produce, yoga , excellent massage, delicious pizza and wi-fi. We would love to have you stay!
We have been on this beautiful farm for 20 years, growing and supplying organic fruit, veggies and our own extra virgin cold pressed Olive oil to the town of De Rust. Prior to this we managed remote lodges in the beautiful Okavango Delta, Botswana. We recently spent two years in the northern Serengeti, managing a lodge where 1.5 million Wildebeest still follow their ancient migration route. Both of us are passionate about nature and believe in living gently on the earth. We love taking great care of the land hence the practise of Permaculture on our farm. Numbi Valley is a magical place. We would love to share our knowledge on sustainable living and look forward to meeting you. Motto " live simply so others may simply live" We respect your privacy, you could visit us and not see another person for the time you are on the farm, or we are happy to engage if you would like to chat and know more about the area or find out about sustainable living, food growing, permaculture, cob building and the gardens on the farm you are very welcome
