Goblin’s Mead consists of 2 self-contained self-catering houses in the same cul-de-sac. # Goblins Mead No 20, the main house with 4 en-suite bedrooms # Goblin’s Mead No 10, with 3 en-suite bedrooms Goblins Mead offers a wide range of accommodation to suit every traveler’s need from the more budget cautious to the most discerning guest, and is ideal for holiday or business. For those looking for a peaceful stay, and who would love to explore Cape Town and its surroundings in 5-Star like comfort at 3 Star prices you need look no further. Goblin's Mead is very centrally situated to all amenities and major tourist attractions with easy access to the N1 and N7 highways. The small village center only a few blocks away has Restaurants, Clicks, Woolworths, a Bottle Store, Coffee Shop and more, to see to your every need. Our closest wine farm the Famous De Grendel is less than 5 km away.

Hi there from Brett and Rosi, we started with the first guesthouse 15 years ago. Today we have 3 guesthouses, Goblin’s Mead in Edgemead Cape Town, Goblin’s Inn and Goblin’s Creek at the sleepy seaside fishing village of St Helena Bay at the West Coast. We love going to flee markets and antique shops to hunt nice items to add to the guesthouse decoration. We are also big animal lovers and we are glad that we do have lots of space at Goblin’s Creek to give our rescued animals a new home. At the moment we have 3 cats: Spotty, Highway and Akela, a very affectionate blue crane called Daniella, a steenbokkie called Bridgette, a duiker called Beatrice and 2 wonderful mongooses - Gollum and Precious in our rescued family. Our aim is to make the stay at our guesthouses an extraordinary experience. We like to offer 5 star like accommodations at 3 star prices. If necessary, bending over backwards to make our guest happy. Our FIRST and foremost house rule is MAKE YOURSELVES AT HOME

Edgemead is an extremely safe and conveniently situated area, within 10kms from Top beaches, casinos, shopping malls, exquisite wine farms, the famous Cape Town waterfront, Cape Town International Airport, Table Mountain, all major highways, fantastic restaurants, Ratunga Juntion theme fun park and lots, lots more
