The property is located in a suburban area. The Studio is accessed by a set of wooden steps from road level. The apartment is in the front garden of an existing house where the owner lives. Guests can have access to the pool area on the other side of the house which is in a garden setting overlooking a forested area.
The apartment consists of a bedroom area, mini bathroom consisting of a shower, basin and toilet, and in a separate area a short corridor leads one to the kitchenette area which is fully supplied with self catering needs. In this area there is a single bed/sofa and a nook for eating/laptop use. There is a small wooden private deck with outdoor furniture for guests. The decor is mainly white with added bursts of cool summer colours. Some of the owner's decorative artwork is up on the walls.
Young couples love the place and get out and about during the day with adventurous activities or simply lazy beach days.
Guests are welcome here, especially overseas guests as the owners love to meet people from different countries. German is spoken and a tiny bit of French. The owner is sensitive to guest's needs and won't intrude on their privacy unnecessarily unless invited to sort out a problem or if communication is wanted. Information about the area can be shared. The owner is an artist and will readily show work to interested guests.
The property is located within walking distance of a gym and training pool. Shops such as a bakery and butchery are two blocks away and local wines can be purchased at a shop about 350m away. Other shops fairly nearby(just under a kilometre) such as the Kwikspar and chemist can be found. Restaurants such as a surf type cafe serving Mexican food and a fish restaurant are in the same vicinity as the Kwikspar. The beach is 1.2 km away and the central shopping area easily accessible in 5 minutes by car.
Eco attractions such as the Robberg peninsula are 10 minutes away by car. The whole coastline offers pristine beaches, indigenous forests in places and many eco tourism activities.
