Everything. Beautiful hotel, amazing restaurant with one of the best breakfasts and dinners we had, unique and mouthwatering cocktails and incredibly friendly staff. The Lofts Boutique Hotel is one of the best places I have ever stayed at, as everything is to absolute perfection. Liesl and Dylan of the front office shared great tips on things to do, which allowed us to make the most out of our (too) short stay and everyone spoiled us with genuine and caring service. Can't wait to come back!

    What a place.

    What a place. I guess one of the best places where you can explore most beautiful part of the Garden Route. However, please plan and do your research beforehand. For e.g., there are quite a few charted boats and running multiple cruise etc for whale watching. Please do some research in advance to find the right one.

    I love Knysna - lived there for 2 years 30 years ago. We stayed over in Hunters Home area, and it was beautiful and green. We ate at a couple of places. We loved Siroccos - the food was excellent; staff were friendly, loved the atmosphere. It was full and buzzing...we love that!! I would go to Tapa's for a drink as the view is great. It is more of a pub restaurant. We ran a race on the Saturday and the festival was on Leisure Island - which I can highly recommend. The stalls were the best I have seen in a long time. It was well organised. We are not a young couple, but we loved walking on the island. The best part was that the sun was shining!!!

    Very beautiful place.

    Very beautiful place. Nice restaurants with a number of activities. Would highly recommend it for group visits or even with your partner. Sirocco restaurant, the nest cafe were good food places we tried. Coney Beach was also a spectacle. We also did a boat cruise with Knysna adventures and it was exceptional.

    Lots to do and see. Lovely restaurants.

    Lots to do and see. Lovely restaurants. Beautiful surroundings. Good beach resorts, boat cruises, Nature and wild life parks. Walking trails. Amazing accomodation. I will come back for sure. Nice surroundings eg Plettenberg bay, Keurboom strand, Brenton on sea etc. I loved the Garden of Eden and we enjoyed the restaurants and good food.

    Knysna is so well situated and safe.

    Knysna is so well situated and safe. So many amazing views and things to try and see. The relaxed attitude of people in the area is great, along with great service and fantastic options of things to do. Shops, restaurants and getting around easy. We should have stayed longer! Wonderful location that just seemed to always have more to see and discover.

    We were there after the Knysna Festival and it was very...

    We were there after the Knysna Festival and it was very quiet. A post covid symptom in so many places. Nonetheless the area is very central and we explored beyond just the Waterfront, Thesen Island and the Heads. We had a terrific winter holiday, scenic and relaxing.

    First of all, the warm welcome of our hostess, her smile and her kindness. The whole house is exceptional. The room, overlooking the garden and the lagoon was ideal. Comfortable with everything that is pleasant for a short stay. The breakfast alone deserves a "wow"! For a short stay, it was exceptional, it would deserve one or two more nights. Highly recommend the Waterfront Lodge in Knysna.

    Location - situated right next to the knysna heads view point, you can enjoy breakfast while soaking up amazing views of the west head, thesan island and the lagoon. Upgrade - the host was extremely kind and upgraded my booking to the suite. Restaurant- Really good breakfast served daily - they cater for vegetarians as well.

    Fabulous apartment within a fifteen min walk of Waterfront. Beautiful view of Knysna lagoon from front balcony. Friendly hosts , complimentary wine, biscuits and beverages. Good WiFi and TV; washing machine appreciated. Private, small garden with BBQ. A fabulous stay that would be hard to beat!

    This is a beautiful hotel with all the comforts one needs when traveling. A true gem in Knysna. The gardens are beautiful, the accommodation setting awesome and the staff friendly and efficient. The free kids holiday programme was a big plus.
