We loved this place. Yes, it was intended to be a remote agricultural destination as we were settling in from jet lag, but it was absolutely beautiful, amongst the vineyards. We had a rental car which made getting to and from the property that much easier. On that note, a rental car would probably be a requirement. we enjoyed day trips to surrounding towns, and the food on site was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was a wonderful spread of regional dishes, continental breakfast style. The pool was a nice touch with how hot it was this time of year, the property was beautiful though. The staff was beyond welcoming and accommodating, the Sicilian cooking class and wine tasting add ons we did felt like visiting our Sicilian grandmother at her home!

We stayed in the Florio Suite and it was amazing, possibly one of the best hotel/room experiences we have had, ever. The suite was beautiful, super clean and whilst a charming & old Italian building just off the main road in town, it was completely modern. The staff was extremely attentive and nice and had our check in completed ahead of time as we arrived after hours. We will definitely return to Costamante and highly recommend it.
