Amidst the scenery of the Lake District, this family-run bed and breakfast provides rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of the fells. Boasting a spa bath, Hawkshead Suites is situated in Hawkshead. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The property is gorgeous, had lots of lovely little touches that just made the stay feel extra special. The fresh flowers on the coffee table, a complimentary mini bar, the bath salts and dressing gowns. It feels like a 5 star resort but with completely privacy. Hawkshead is small, but the walk to the pubs/shops is only about 4 minutes from the suit which is perfect. And if you wish to venture into bigger towns Ambleside & Windermere are a short drive away. I will be back ASAP it was the best UK overnight break I’ve had.

16 km from Lake Windermere in Elterwater, Skelwith Fold Cottage No.1 features accommodation with access to a hot tub. The whole thing was excellent. First time to the lakes, and we will consider coming back when we have enough money.
