The staff are amazing, I felt so sad leaving the place. It's a paradise, an escape. I will definitely go back one day. I love the simplicity of the place and the people. It's just a paradise on earth.

I stayed here because some friends recommended it to me — friends who had loved their own stay at Moonstone enough several years ago that they spent *two months* here. They told me that Moonstone was especially fantastic for its location (near the pier where we were arriving) and — above all — the views, at a very reasonable price. And what else can I say but wow? It was an excellent recommendation. I rented a studio here, and it was the perfect size, with a small desk, a mini-fridge, a bench, a space to hang some clothing, another small table near the bathroom, two mirrors, two trash cans, and air conditioning. The bed was spacious and very comfortable, with soft blankets. Best of all, you can see a view of the mountainside and the water beyond it *directly from the bed.* Absolutely breathtaking. There is also a lovely pool on the property (with a equally lovely view), but since the property is within walking distance to the beach (20 min. walk to Haad Rin) and Moonstone also offers a very reasonably priced motorbike rental, I didn't really hang around the common area long enough to try the pool. I recommend renting your bike at Moonstone for a hassle-free experience; Moonstone won't try to scam you (unlike some of the smaller bike rental shops in the area) because they respect their guests and want their guests to be happy with the services on the property. All of this was spectacular enough. But what REALLY impressed me was the kindness of the owners: I left a bag here in storage when I went to another island. However, I got very sick after some days on the other island and wasn't able to return to Koh Phangan for my bag. Moonstone actually arranged to transfer my bag to my doctor on the other island under these very exceptional circumstances so that I would not have to travel back to Koh Phangan while I was so ill and weak. I will be forever grateful for this, and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Moonstone!

• The property itself is beautiful. The landscaping and public areas are very well designed, and there is definitely a “wow” effect when you first arrive. • The staff were very nice and genuinely tried to help. We especially appreciated the way the manager handled our complaint about the pool situation. She listened to our concerns and offered us a complimentary taxi to the pier as a gesture of goodwill, which was thoughtful and appreciated. • The breakfast and restaurant food are good. The menu isn’t Thai, which was actually refreshing after travelling around Thailand for a while and gave us a welcome chance to eat something different.

Beautiful villa on a beautiful beach and island. Great house for a big group, we had a great time. Host was super helpful in answering questions and making sure we had a great stay

Amazing location in Chaloklum with the nicest hotel management team. I was actually sad leaving after 2weeks there.

Establishment is right against the nicest beach on koh phangan, we checked out a lot of other beaches but this one was the nicest, very calm, family friendly and beautiful views. Also on the streetside you have everything you need, restaurants, laundry places, taxi and scooterrentals, 7-11, etc. Rooms were nice, relatively modern and beds were very comfy. we slept great! good cleanliness and every other day you get 2 big bottles of water. internet was working very well. Lovely staff and good pool. You can pay with card on the property without additional costs.

The villa was comfy, though perhaps boutique luxury is an oversell. Its a 15 minute walk from the beach, which is an advantage of those seeking views but shunning the party zone. Theres a lounging pool covered from the blazing Sun. The manager Joy is friendly. We couldn't wash the dishes (no liquid) but sorted our trash to keep the place clean.

Loved the stay at CyKali! Felt like home. Its clean, beautiful, quiet and well located. Karin and Ciril the hosts are the sweetest, since the moment I entered to this place I felt good connection, enjoyed the conversations and they were always super helpful! I liked the Saturday dinner they make, they used to have a restaurant in France so dinner was delicious!
