Very clean, very good breakfast, great location, professional service, very good food in the restaurant

Nice room and delicious breakfast! Thank you!

Excellent view, big room. Amzing

The ambiance is very Italian and the hotel with its restaurants are very beautiful. The staff is professional and nice. The hotel is smack in the center of Lugano. The rooms could be made more charming to match the restaurants, although they work well.

Very clean and refreshing rooms and overall hotel. Hospitable, smiling and helpful staff. Good breakfast spread with tasty food. Superb location with lift for train station adjacent to it and hotel also provided free pass for local travel. Sight seeing places nearby. Overall We had a very good experience and I will surely stay here on my next visit.

We had a really great two-night stay at Hotel Federale. The location is excellent, very close to the train station and convenient for exploring Lugano. We also got the Lugano Ticket from the hotel, which allows you to use local public transport and the funicular free of charge. Our room had a slightly unusual shape, as it was located at an angle of the building, but it had everything we needed and was comfortable. The restaurant was wonderful - the food was amazing, and the atmosphere made both breakfast and dinner especially enjoyable. We really appreciated that the chef came out every evening to speak with the guests and personally ask for their feedback. The restaurant staff were fantastic as well, creating such a warm and friendly atmosphere. A very special thank you to Davide Nettuno, who was incredibly helpful and gave us lots of useful information during our stay. We would also like to thank Domenico, who took such great care of us in the restaurant and contributed to our great experience. Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent service, great food, and genuinely welcoming people. We would be very happy to return!

Location and services are great!

incredible location in a beautiful city, a cosy place and nice staff.

I liked the location, how easy it was to get into the apartment. Everything was clean and modern. Communication with the host was perfect, I got all responses quickly. In addition, I enjoyed the view from the window

Great selection of breakfast items, beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony. Helpful staff greets you in the lobby.

Amazing decoration, excellent accommodation, good service close to bus stop why ask for more.

Melissa was so kind to fold all our laundry. The answered our questions before check-in and were also extremely helpful during our stay. The laundry service was very efficient. The hotel is very near the train station and also 10 mins walk from Paradiso (restaurants, ferry terminal). The supermarket is also 5 mins away and there is a store at the gas station across the road.

Everything was perfect. Great location, near train station, very clean. Even though the room was small, it was worth it considering the budget.Thank you!

Location, near bus, train and ferry

Amazing art collection, stunning grounds and the Lido is a cool feature.

The location , the terrace and the view from the room are spectaluar. Service was very friendly.

Modern, clean, nice bedroom, big breakfast room. Relaxing communal seating. Not too far from the lakeside. Bus stop to railway station only five minutes walk.

A well-kept hotel housed in a thoughtfully renovated older building. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff was genuinely warm and attentive. Breakfast stands out as a real highlight — well above average. The location is excellent, making it a convenient base for the whole stay.

Nice embedding into historic, renovated building.

Great location and very nice to have a bottle of sparkling wine in our room. Good breakfast.

An amazing place.Very calm and peaceful. The food is superb and the swimming pool and garden are divine.
