Wonderful hotel in a great location, right in the town center and close to the ski slopes. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and warm. It had a large balcony with a table and chairs, and a small desk with a kettle. Breakfast was rich, with many sweet and savory options. To avoid getting stuck in the snow, we left the car in Campodolcino, took the funicular up to Motta, and from there to Madesimo the free shuttle bus, which arrives very close to the hotel.

Excellent location for skiing, a short 5 minute drive to Madesimo. Breakfast consisted of great coffee, a selection of meats and chesses, croissants, yoghurt, cereal, cake, continental style and help yourself - no hot options available. The whole place was very clean and tidy, very friendly staff and very comfortable beds and pillows. During our stay there was only one restaurant available in the village, it was booked out very quickly and for good reason - it was excellent food. We'd love to come back in the summer to explore the hiking.
