The location is absolutely stunning – right by the lake with breathtaking mountain views. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a short getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I had such an amazing time staying at this hotel. The staff is super nice and helpful, they prepared vegan breakfast for me, the room was comfortable and clean in a nice location 20min bus ride away from the lake.

Very helpful and nice people are working there. They did our stay cozy and chill. The hut is full of thoughtful little details that make the stay very comfortable.

Very friendly staff, the hotel is perfectly placed, easy to find from the station and close to all the shops and restaurants. I will go back to it for sure. The restaurant was that good that we went twice in 3 days.

The staff was really nice and careful. The location of the Hotel is perfect for walks or hike near the lake (and its surroundings are very beautiful). My room and the hotel in total were very clean and peaceful. On top of that, the breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this Hotel.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Kochel am see, everything was perfect! The staff, attention, service, commodities. With a wonderful breakfast buffet! We would totally recommend this lovely place!

We had the best time at the Danner-hof. The apartment was spacious and new. Spotlessly clean with tasteful interior and comfy beds. Wifi was fast. Kitchen had a dishwasher. The Finnish sauna there was the best we tried in the region. Parking was free. Staff were friendly and happy to go the extra mile. We received an upgrade in rooms as a welcome gift which was a lovely surprise. Highly recommend a stay in this hotel. Make sure you book with breakfast, it was so good!

Amazing location. Comfortable check in. Clean and Comfortable room. German style breakfast was good - not like usual buffet breakfast but served on the table and the Chefin was so kind and caring. Gave us the free parking ticket for entire Jachenau location.

I forgot my shirt and jacket in the cabinet and staff friendly helped me by sending forgotten clothes to me by mail. Otherwise it was a stay too.

The hotel is a bright combination of Bavarian traditions and modernity. The room was very specious and bright, the balcony is definitely a big advantage.

The breakfast offers a variety, and it is quite nice. The hotel also provides dinner, which is delicious at a reasonable price. The decoration in the hotel is very vintage-style and charming.

Beautiful location, beautiful view of the breakfast and room. Very clean and organized. Breakfast simple but enough. The town Wallgrau is beautiful, I felt like in a movie. I am from Brazil and my husband from Germany and we are planning to return in winter time.

Don't trust the photos. The real object is much more original and beautiful. We were overwhelmed by the design, interior as well as exterior, which integrates the surrounding mountains without a hint of rural kitsch. It's paradise for art lovers, an attraction to excellent conversations with the open-minded owners. If we are what we eat, we become kinder and braver after each breakfast, since we just realize how blessed we are to have entered the gates of this palace, sorry, place.

We spent a wonderful four days with our family at this hotel. It's a beautiful historic building, with comfortable modern rooms, a wonderful breakfast, and very welcoming hosts. The hotel also has a restaurant renowned in the region. We had a wonderful dinner there—both the food and the service were excellent. We'd love to return to this welcoming home. A lovely rural hotel with quiet rooms set around lawns. Nice restaurant with outdoor terrace and delicious menu. 2-3 minutes walk across the main road to Sylvensteinersee, where you can walk or swim.
