staff was awesome. they asked how come we made such a quick/impulse booking and when they found out about previous negative experience we were treated extra well. big kudos to them!!! breakfast was awesome, a bit crowded but super nice view from the restaurant. lounge area was great too with bonfire, board games, table tennis, pool etc. we even got 2 free drinks tickets since we were asked to wait for a couple of minutes. overall, great value for the money! we found free parking spots, although it was quiet crowded. we did not have time or interest in trying out other facilities such as pools etc. but at least could see there were plenty to choose from.

Be prepared to walk for about 4 hours at the castle There are rooms everywhere and plenty of steps so if if you have walking difficulties still go but only do as much as you can The walk to the castle takes you past the maritime museum which is worth seeing

Perfect location opposite Helsingør’s train station and ferry terminal. The hotel is a short walk to Kulturværftet and Kronborg Castle and in the midst of great restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the cozy room and tea selection. Reception was very helpful and friendly.

Location is perfect. A few minute's walk to railway station, located in historic part of the old town, approx 15 minute's walk to the Museum precinct and Kronborg Castle. Excellent, helpful attitude by reception and restaurant staff.

The staff were kind and friendly. I was able to relax and spend some time alone. I love Hamlet, so I was happy to be able to stay at this hotel after walking around Kronborg Castle. I'll never forget waking up to the moonlight and seeing a shooting star. I would like to stay again!

Booked the apartment for an experience in an old half-timbered building. The place was clean, with comfortable beds and plentiful supply of instant coffee/tea and milk. The location is very conveniently close to the train station, the downtown, and the Kronborg castle.

Lovely beach location and interesting historic main building. A reasonable but interesting walk to Helsingør via the harbour and University Aquarium which is worth a visit, before the must-see Kronborg castle. There is a train station (request stop) very close by with frequent trains into Helsingor. Good en-suite units separate from the main building. Can be noisy mid week with school groups. Very good kitchen and dining area with everything you need to cook provided.

Comfortable, family-run hotel in an excellent location on the edge of the old town in Helsingor. The railway station is just across the road. My room was on the 4th floor with an outstanding view over the roofs of the old town to Kronborg Castle, the Sound and the coast of Sweden. The breakfast buffet was very good - a good selection of everything you could want, including a delicious range of fresh bread rolls.

Perfect location, close to ferry terminal , train stations, Kronborg Castle, cafes and restaurants. Extremely helpful and friendly staff members who went above and beyond to help fix the lighting of my room.
