Kelli and Lauri are a great creative team! Their lovely 4 room hotel/restaurant is right on the beach inside Lahemaa National Park, next to a fine harbor deep enough for serious sailboats. Kelli and Lauri are both excellent Chefs... from Elk Wrapped in Bacon with Currant Sauce to Mussells in a rich, spicy broth... It's all good! And meals come with a variety of fresh Home-Baked Bread, all served in a comfy, window-lined dining room, upstairs and down. (Check out the wood-fired furnace made from a Soviet-era sea mine...Totally hip.) The area has miles of forest hiking trails, well-marked and well-kept. I was there in winter with fresh snow and a faint Aurora Borealis hanging above the lighthouse. I hope to return in late spring for hiking/biking... and more of Kelli and Lauri's wonderful North Estonian cooking! Terviseks!

Breakfast was excellent with friendly and dedicated breakfast host. Room was spacious and view from balcony couldn’t be beat.

Ämmamoori Maja - Mother-in-Law's House in Palmse provides accommodations with a garden and barbecue facilities. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.
