spacious rooms, clean, very nice breakfast. The staff is great. We forgot our daughters plush toy in the room and they will keep it for us until we can pick it up the next time we come. Amazing! We felt very welcome.

Comfortable room and beds with mattress softeners. We had a very good meal at a reasonable price. Dog friendly (not pets allowed!) and we could eat with our dog in the bar, plus a good run area. Staff were really helpful. One of our favourites with dog on our travels through France and Spain.

I am bike touring France and have stayed thus far in 21 different hotels. Without a doubt the small 2 star Hotel de France was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in over 1 months cycling in France. And it was the ONLY hotel I’ve stayed at in this entire trip that had TURNED ON HEAT in rooms!! Ever hotel before this hotel the rooms were freezing and cold. I highly recommend this hotel. Store my bike in locked garage, had elevator, wonderful breakfast and the staff was just awesome and Frederick and his wife are now good friends. Awesome place to stay!!!!
