Classy and far removed from typical London hotels and tourist traps. Touch of old school travel but still recognizably in London and well connected to transit. Strongly recommended, especially for comedy fans staying on a Friday or Saturday night.

Really lovely staff and fantastic value for money- I was given a free upgrade to a double room and with an en-suite as well which is exceptional considering how much I paid. The location is great just about 45 mins out of central London. Easy check and great shower, clean and late check out too- 11am, which was much appreciated.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. The staff, especially the receptionists, were always friendly and helpful, which made our stay feel welcoming from the start. The hotel itself has a bit of wear, which might bother some, but for us, it added character and charm. Our room was tidy, well-prepared, and even had music playing when we entered - a lovely and thoughtful touch that made the experience feel extra special. We tried the breakfast once. It was a continental style, though slightly different from what we usually expect - more sweet options than a mix of savory and sweet. The staff kindly allowed us to see the breakfast beforehand, which was very considerate. There’s also a menu breakfast option, which we appreciated. In the evening, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is cozy, and combined with the kind people around, it made for a very enjoyable stay. We’re glad we chose this hotel and would happily recommend it to others looking for a warm, charming place to stay.

Very good location for underground service, shops and food. Pub was good for both food and drink. Staff were friendly with easy check in. Room was fine with most things needed. Great value overall.

The room was clean, shower working and beddings clean.
