The location of the hotel was excellent, easily accessible by bus, taxi and train. The staff were welcoming right from arrival, and they offered an exceptional service throughout. Dinner at the Thai restaurant was amazing. No attention to detail was spared. The breakfast was something to look up to, again, no attention to detail was spared-an amazing menu service - and exceedingly happy and welcoming staff.

Up there with the best of hotel experiences I've had over many visits to London. The rooms are truly exquisite - they are brilliantly designed, spacious and beautifully furnished. The restaurant and bars in the hotel are also excellent. The location is superb - 100 meters from Bond Street station, and a short walk into the centre of Marleybone.

We loved the idea that the staff put on 2 urns on Friday afternoon so we could enjoy coffee and tea on Saturday. Coffee tea and biscuits were available at any time during the day during the week. The staff at the front office were very helpful with directions bus numbers etc. The room was beautiful decorated and the bathrooms were very clean.

Hampstead

Vermanes is a true Riga classic. The city’s oldest park has been a favourite spot for relaxing locals for generation after generation. On the benches, in the leafy shade of the trees, you’ll see people of all ages and backgrounds laughing and shooting the breeze. Chess aficionados should head towards the small amphitheatre – next to it, there’s always a series of intense chess battles going on between grizzled masters. If you’re up to it, you can even join in!
