Welcoming and great atmosphere

Excellent facilities with a lovely spa and pool, steam room and gym. Golf if you like it with lovely views. Room was well equipped. Above the staff were very helpful and friendly, everywhere, reception lovely lady and also breakfast, which was excellent too. Also cater for gluten free people

Stay at this venue for work every year. Located in lovely tiny village in a welcoming cosy village pub with a few rooms above. The rooms are quiet, modern, well equipped, clean and cosy. Nice walks nearby. Pub restaurant offers a good variety of exceptional food, is often busy, and a nice cooked breakfast. Staff all very friendly. Highly recommend.

Comfy beds, good breakfast and helpful staff

Superb breakfast. Amazing restaurant meals. Located on a busy road but didn't really disturb. Historic, characterful, and quirky (there is a swing in most of the bedrooms). Good parking on site and easy access to lots of interesting places.

The suite was very spacious, comfortable furniture, air conditioning working fine, the bathroom with a huge tub and walk in shower were brilliant. The staff has always been friendly and eager to help. The indoor pool was lovely, water temperature super for relaxing and swimming. The bar and restaurant were also clean and inviting, the breakfast, continental and full English, freshly served, was very delicious.

Everything was great, staff very helpful and friendly breakfast was nice, not sure about the sausages, but everything else made up for them,

Just passing through so took the cheapest local room at v v short notice so I had not expectations - wow it was amazing. Shame I wasn’t about in the daylight to enjoy the views

Room was great & friendly staff

Rooms are clean, well designed and comfy. The bathroom is clean and very well stocked, lovely clean towels. The room has everything and if you need anything you can just ask, the use of the microwave is great you then eat hot food purchased from local shops. The staff are very friendly and will always help.

Staff where wonderful very pleasant very helpful , it was a pleasure to stay here , rooms were beautiful very clean and comfy 🙂

Beautiful setting and our room was very accessible for disabled guests and had the added benefit of a private garden area. Chef is great and most items (including the chocolates given for my birthday!), were homemade.
