Hotels near Volcano, Firostefani

The views are absolutely amazing! The location right on the caldera allows for really great views of the sunset and the volcano. Being in Firostefani, the hotel is close to both Fira and Imerovigli and has enough restaurants in the immediate vicinity, while still being in a relatively calm and uncrowded area. There is free parking about 5 minutes away from the hotel and the bus stop is even closer. The room was very clean and actually looked less outdated than what I anticipated from the photos. The bathroom was very nice, recently renovated.

The hotel is a dream! Perfect location, quiet neighborhood, however close to the center. The view is breathtaking! You can see the volcano, the Skaros rock and the beautiful and famous Santorini sunset. The hotel is beautifully maintained and every detail is taken care of. The room and the whole hotel are very clean. Last but not least, the staff is very kind and helpful, especially the Front Desk Executive, Faih! I recommend this hotel for an unforgettable and perfect experience!

First and foremost, the staff: friendly, welcoming and available! The location is excellent, with a superb view of the caldera (volcano) and close to several bars and restaurants. The hotel has deals with local car and motorcycle rental companies, which delivers autos at the hotel, as a great convenience. The building is a typical Santorini construction and the room views are wonderful. Breakfast is served in the room and it is BIG! As tasty! We highly recommend this hotel.

The owner had an issue with Greek Systems and only got given a 1 star but our experience was that they are far better than that. The owners efforts was the stand out feature of this property. We loved the family ownership and small private hotel without needing to give guests breakfast. We had ours out others made their own and had it on the sun terraces. Location was just perfect for us, great for seeing the sunsets on the volcano side but away from the crowds.

Wow!!!location location location!!! This hotel is placed in the best location of santorini. We took the panoramic room and it's highly recommended because of the view to the kaldera volcano. Nikos and his staff are very nice and help us with recommendations and transfer to the airport.. The hotel is in next to (10 min walk)Fira and it has a route to oia . Amazinggggg Highly recommended

Due to a severe delay of our flight, we arrived the Sunset Hotel at 2:00 am in the midnight- the receptionist was still keeping a door for us- after he has helped us set up everything for checkin, he said he will be there for ten more minutes. He is a professional and super friendly staff. The volcano facing view, at night or in day, is so stunning. A perfect place to totally slack off.

excellent family run business. Heartwarming, helpful and generous owners! Spacious room with all necessary amenities provided. Excellent island and sea view! An amazing pool area, and location only 5' walk from Thira city center. Volcano view just a minute away, i am gladly returning next time i am visiting the island!
