Everything was very well maintained and clean. Breakfast felt fresh and had enough to choose from. Beds were comfortable. The hotel is located a bit further from the city center and the main attractions but we didn't mind that as there is a metroline running regularly and a metrostation close by.

Plenty of hot water in the shower, air conditioner controls that didn't need batteries in the middle of the night. Really, it felt like it had just been renovated, everything was so clean. Staff was completely helpful. The breakfast and evening meals were excellent and a good value, saving us from searching the streets before heading out.

They have an open parking space (beside garage - but only 2m) - bit cars can be parked outside. The exceptional localtion near park which is perfect for a morning walk with a dog. NO issue with taking a dog into hotel or to breakfast (assuming that dog will behave of course).

Heroes' Square

With its huge 118-foot-tall column, it’s not hard to find Heroes Square. Take photos of this iconic monument or wander around the Vidam Park, where you might stumble into a free outdoor event. In the park, you’ll also see the impressive Vajdahunyad Castle – home to the agricultural museum, an inexpensive attraction if you want to go inside.

History, pageantry and pride is evident all around this area. Take some time to follow the tales of how and why this place came to be and you get a better sense of the people. The nearby castle and restaurant are stunning to say the least.

The location is easily accessible by public transport, walking distance from the Városliget and the Heroes’ square. The breakfast menu had good quality and variety. The little spa was clean and just enough for a bit of relaxation at the end of the day.
