All was perfect.
Breakfast was great with a huge buffet of all you can imagine. Staff was very nice and all was clean. We didn't use gym or spa, so can't say anything about that 😊

Very helpful exceptional value for money for the service
This 4-star hotel has a Championship golf course and is 5 miles from Athlone. All newly reformed rooms at the Glasson Lakehouse have free Wi-Fi, TVs and a room service menu.

Real traditional Irish B&B. Not fancy to look at sure but such hospitality! Nothing too much trouble for the hosts who's love of hosting is infectious. Big Irish breaky of course. Warm cosy rooms. Minutes from clonmacnoise monastery, 20 min into shannonbridge for dinner and music and a pint.
The owners are so kind and sweet. They accommodated my dietary preferences for breakfast (vegan diet) without hesitation. The room was big and clean. The house is located close to the Clonmacnoise monastic site (less than 5 min by car).
The hosts Joe and Jackie were exceptional, the friendliest people you will ever meet, the breakfast was fabulous 👌 would highly recommend Clonmacnoise B & B
