The room was very comfortable although we had to move rooms because the safe could not be used and the fridge didn't work. The second room was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was excellent. As was the breakfast

Breakfast is only passable,limited selection e.g.no prunes,no all bran.Poached eggs requested,it took 2 reminders and then one person’s eggs were served….breakfast was finished for us,by the time the second serving came…..too late.

    Staying at Kilkea Castle felt like stepping into a fairytale. The castle grounds are stunning and full of history, with beautifully maintained gardens and charming interiors. Our room was elegant, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more special. It’s the perfect mix of luxury and old-world charm—an unforgettable stay that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Ireland!

    Had a wonderful stay in Kilkea castle. Very clean & cosy carriage room, bed very comfortable. Staff were courteous and friendly. Breakfast and dinner exceptional. Lovely grounds to walk around. Very relaxing and highly recommend.

    We had a fabulous stay in Kilkea Castle Lodges last week. Food was amazing, staff were so friendly. Lovely ground to walk around. Lodges with great facilities and handy as we had a young baby with us.

    What an amazing place! We took some family members there on our tour of Ireland and they were blown away with Kilkea Castle. We marked all the hotels we stayed at '4 in a bed' style and Kilkea Castle came out on top! The breakfast was awesome. My wife left her boots in the room on our departure and they were return to our home in the UK the following week! I couldn't recommend Kilkea Castle highly enough.

    Staying at Kilkea Castle was a like dream. Walking around the most beautiful grounds seemed like a fairytale, and our only disappointment was that we could not stay longer. The ladies at the spa were also a 10/10!

    Kilkea Castle simply has the "Wow" factor about it. We arrived very late at night due to a delayed flight, were welcomed by Dom the Night Manager (great West Ealing lad) who even drove us to our room in golf buggy, how good is that. The castle itself is a dream, lobby, bar and restaurants the same. The staff are so polite and professional.

    Kilkea Castle was where we had our Wedding Reception 28 years ago and it has only improved in the 28 year , we really enjoyed our 3 night stay and the staff couldn't do enough they were exceptional .
