Reddys, For Horse racing, Even doh the most of the staff could do with a person training course for greeting customers, they could take a few tips from the staff in the Talbot Hotel, and the Pub opposite them not to sure of the name of the bub/Dinn Ri for Food it was excellent, Similar to the Bub Opposite Reddys, The tall young Guy in Reddy's was great and service was super couldn't say the same about the rest of the staff, couldn't say the same about the dark hair girl!

Have been to Carlow before so knew what I wanted to see and do. Dinn Rí was the perfect location for me near to shops and very easy for meeting up with friends. The Cafe next to the reception had a lovely menu and good coffee. All staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Carlow Town is very lively and busy. Local people are very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed great food and drinks at the Teach Bar. Staff were all very friendly It would be nice if there was more outside dining to create some atmosphere and ambience.

Ann could not be more helpful when our friend fell ill.

Ann could not be more helpful when our friend fell ill. Got paramedics in and she was taken to hospital. Allowed us to stay on to enable us to visit her. Did washing of nighties for our friend. In my opinion she went over and above to help us. Ann is a lovely lady.

Personal touch, basic fresh food in the fridge which was very welcome, very comfortable and cosy bed, good shower, good location, quiet and secure. 30 second walk to the bar in the hotel.Pat and Yin are a delightful couple who went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable, including dropping us into town. The house is set 25 mins walk from town in grounds next to the Dolmen Hotel. The scenery was stunning as was the autumnal foliage.

Apartment was very clean, decorated to a very high standard and well equipped, location was very quiet and close to hotel where you could have a meal and a drink if desired. The host's Pat and Yin were very friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable, little extras like cereal, milk, bread and eggs, tea and coffee all provided and not to forget the beautiful home made scones. Would highly recommend.

Great breakfast, and all the usual cereals etc provided . Proprietor very friendly and knowledgeable on a lot of topics. Motorbikes / cars / and every nook and cranny in Ireland. He definitely will make you feel at home and most helpful to overseas guests and visitors. The Red Setter is in the center of Carlow town . It has very good secure parking for motorbikes / cars. I would recommend highly and I will return.

Avlon House is a modern purpose built B & B that is spacious and tastefully decorated throughout to make for a very comfortable stay. Tom and his team do a great job in looking after their guests and we certainly left with a view that this was one of the best B & B's we'd stayed in during our three week stay in Ireland. Tom also gave us some great tips on various gardens to visit while we sere staying in Carlow

From home to home. Upon arrival there was a welcome basket waiting for us with sweets, fruits, cereals and wine. Spotless apartment. Very clear, beds very comfortable and spotless bathroom. Not in town but location very convenient. Short drive to Kilkenny and Carlow. We had a great time. We do not meet the owners bud Mairead always text and ask is everything ok. For sure we will be back.

From the moment we arrived, Pauline made us feel very welcome in her home. The house is located in the beautiful Carlow countryside and it's a real home. We spent our Friday night in front of a roaring fire in the lounge and rose to a lovely breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend.

A great property for a family stay in the Carlow region. Enough space for our family of five and having two bathrooms was a bonus. Bernadine was a fantastic host who went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay over the Christmas period. We enjoyed her scones on arrival.

The hotel is situated in the heart of town, and everything is walkable. They have the option of an included breakfast, done by the restaurant downstairs, and even if you don't opt in, the prices are very affordable.
