Everything about Vetera Matera was just superb, from the shuttle collection to the amazing welcome. Superbly furnished and styled

the place is magical - so charming, to sleep and shower in the caves, and the breakfast was so good, with amazing local products, perfectly located, staff very helpful - we loved it and we would definitely recommend it

Everything was great, especially hospitality of the staffs was extraordinary good and the memory of the stay got more beautiful and unforgettable. Thank you very much and I would like to visit again in the future.

The hotel is beautiful. Very well located, in the center of Matera. The room is something else, very charming, super well decorated, a unique experience. I highly recommend it. The spa is a dream, it feels like being in a movie. Breakfast is well served and with good options. A hotel I definitely recommend.

Two steps for old town. We appreciated parking right at hotel

Very friendly and competent manager, give lot of good advices how to explore the city

The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms are very nice, spacious, nice bathroom, really a great place

Absolutely amazing palace next to the Duomo ... the room was massive the ceilings were high and the bed huge. It ticked all the boxes and the breakfast delicious. We paid for parking in their courtyard and it was worth it, they parked the car and it was super convenient. What a beautiful spot. I would highly recommend

Location is perfect for walking the rest of the Sassi, but outside the main tourist strip, which is great.

Excellent location in the centre of Matera with very friendly and helpful staff. Would use again.

The staff were kind and accomodating our requests.

Staff, room, and the city where more then I have expected.

The history , the location and the staff were all exceptional

The location is amazing. They built a hotel in a rock . Rooms are very modern and staff are very professional.

Absolutely beautiful property, stellar views, amazing caves, luxurious, feeling like James Bond himself, super friendly and helpful stuff, best hotel in Matera

A fantastic experience from the time of booking until the time of our departure. We (a family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers) stayed for 2 nights in the family suite. We also booked the private spa area. Breakfast delicious. Couldn’t fault Cenobio Hotel. Staff so helpful and professional. 5 stars all round.

Everything. The place was exceptionally clean, the staff attentive and friendly. The scent and the toiletries were all amazing. The breakfast was simple but very good and showcased the cuisine of Matera.

Fully automated without personnel
