What an amazing find in Kyoto! If anyone's looking for a traditional room with a modern twist this is it! The staff made us feel very welcome, the rooms were small but very comfy and the futon bed was so nice, I did not expect to get the best and most restful sleep throughout my trip in Japan there. They also offer a shuttle service, which was very handy, just make sure to book in advance.

Location was very accessible to everything & wt free breakfast , am ready to hit d road to my Kyoto adventure

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is located close to a metro station, making it very easy to explore all of Kyoto. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in a little earlier than expected and leave our luggage before check-in, which was greatly appreciated. We also had a small issue with the air conditioning in our room, but the staff handled it immediately and gave us a new room without any hassle. Everything was arranged quickly and professionally. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend staying here!

The accommodation was very comfortable, very elegant, everything was clean, exceeded my expectations, the extra bed was a little uncomfortable, but it was worth staying there. Is really near from the train station!

A unique experience - we were truly impressed with this hotel. For the price, it offers incredible value and goes beyond expectations. Both the hotel and the room are very spacious, which makes the stay extremely comfortable. There are fantastic extras and thoughtful touches, including complimentary items in the room - everything you could possibly need, and even more. The overall service and experience inside the hotel are excellent. The only slight disappointment was that some of the extras didn’t function properly. For example, the multimedia system in the bathroom next to the bathtub wasn’t working as it should, and the hair styling tool (which works as both a straightener and curler) was also not functioning. This was a bit disappointing, as we were excited to use these features. Another downside is the location - it is somewhat isolated, about a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest bus stop or metro station. That being said, the hotel itself, the room, and the overall service are wonderful. We were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Comfiest pillows we’ve had since being in Japan. We had been at 2 hotels in different cities previously and this hotel had the comfiest bed/pillows.

It was situated at a nice location very near to the Ryokoku University….and was at a walking distance from the local transportation

Great location, and spacious room. Enjoyed that the key was a QR code, so nothing to lose and very easy to use. Able to do laundry as they had a machine in the room and provided detergent. Two beds, which are large enough to share, which were also very comfortable. They provided green tea with a kettle also, and water in the mini fridge.

The hotel is very nice. Nice staff, nice big rooms, nice hot shower, and located very close to the train station.

great location, art pieces, rooms a bit old but they are renovating. Would stay again.
