Excellent location—just a short walk from the central station and the city centre. Surrounded by plenty of restaurants. The room was small but clean and well-equipped, exactly as described on the website. The breakfast was very good, featuring a nice selection of local food

Location is around 5mins walk from station. Everything is available in the hotel like washing, drying and ironing. Staff is super friendly. Its value for money and also includes large LED TV. It was convenient to stay at this hotel with family.

Hotel is well located, close to the main train station but in a quiet area. The room was clean, with basic amenities and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast included in the room rate; simple but delicious (soba bowl and a few sides to choose, tea and coffee). Complimentary hot/cold beverages available 24/7 for customers. Public bath within the premises, in the top floor. Small but very handy. The staff was outstanding. The size of the single room is Japanese average.

-Strongest point for this hotel is ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT-DESSERT during your stay, I Love it so much!!! If you love Japanese ice cream or those things, this is the hotel you must stay -Staffs are polite and able to communicate with basic English -Breakfast is very good, tasty and unlimited cake plus a view with snowy mountain -Hot spring is available (separate gender) -Room size is good and provide comfort

I had a one night stay with my family or 4, the room was superbly clean and spacious enough to put our luggage. Staffs are amazing.. friendly and helpful. Will recommend to anyone who wants to stays in Nagano.

We had a great stay at Saihokukan Hotel. We had one room in the main building and one suite in South building. The room in the main building is old style but the room was clean, very good size and with good bathroom. The suite in the South building was modern design with all facilities required. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We spent 2 nights here and the place exceeded our expectations.

Lovely hotel in a very convenient location. We loved the self check-in as well as the attention to detail. Everything was new, modern, and clean. Not to mention the super comfy bed!

Perfect stay in the perfect place, right next to the station. So convenient for exploration of the city, and about 2 km to the temple on foot. Nice rooms with the pillow selection if the standard one is not for you. And the price is fantastic for the quality.

Very close to Gondo station, everything in close distance and even in walking distance to the river. It gives a 60s vibe and it's very creative.

It is located close to the JR station and there are multiple restaurants/cafes nearby. They provided us with all sorts of amenities for the toilet and the onsen, which was great. Staff is polite and English-friendly.
