This is the place to stay at, while visiting (two nights advisable): absolutely amazing food together with friendly, attentive staff prepares one great for hiking. Oh and the sauna with view of Fuji afterwards is a must.

The location was superb - view of Mt Fuji from the property and we were fortunate the clouds disappeared in time to take some fabulous photos. Walking distance to the town and waterfall.

Perfect location. It was amazing to be so close to this beautiful mountain and watch it changing throughout the day. The onsens both have the best views. One has a sauna and mist room and ice cold plunge pools. Rooms very comfortable with views of the mountain. The reception staff were amazing and helped us navigate the bus booking to Tokyo. Book ahead for dinner. All meals were very good.

The camping vibes and view of mt Fuji

Onsen was superb... room was superb with Fuji view... Location is in the forest...we had car; so we were OK; but without car, I don't know...

Ordered extra breakfast, Fuji from the restaurant window was amazing. It was very close and majestic, unlike the view from the shore of Lake Kawaguchi. I recommend the breakfast included.

Very friendly staff, provided us clear instruction. We really like the bedding set up. Pillow and mattress are very comfortable. Everything is super clean. We really enjoyed the stay.

Location, Vibe, Style of the room are the great thing I love. I also like the system to check-in & check-out with no human contact. I only deal with the iPad in the reception room which is simple & easy to make it done. Everything was good all the way. I'm not sure if there was a broken thing, were there staff coming reach me for assistance or not.

I stayed purely for the view! You are able to clearly see Mount Fuji from the restaurant and from the roof top terrace. However, there is a big power line pole in from of it. When I stayed, I was travelling with my son and there was a promotion that allowed kids to stay for free. So the value for money was good. We got the package that included lunch and dinner. If you like crab, you are in for a treat! Both meals were plentiful and delicious. Other guests had a buffet style dinner and breakfast, but maybe they were part of the tour groups that arrived on buses. The restaurant staff were all courteous and welcoming. The room was large, and faced the trees. I think rooms in the other wing of the building have views of Mt Fuji. The beds were comfortable but i didn't find the pillows comfortable Heaps of parking right next to the entrance. The reception lady walked us to our room and carried my bag, which was a surprise. We needed to reserve our dinner slot and when she called the restaurant she was talking in Chinese. So I think she may have lead us to the room because she was not confident that we would understand Japanese and didn't want to attempt disjointed communication! There was a nice onsen to relax in. Free water bottles, tea and quality coffee in the room. Wifi was good. There is a karaoke room and bar, which I didn't use but could hear a family enjoying themselves.
