I stayed three nights and the staff were wonderful the whole time. Always friendly, smiling and ready to help. I had a double room (with 2 queen beds), which was spacious enough and super comfortable (and stylish). I didn't use the AC, but I appreciated having the option to switch it on and off if I needed to. The bed was comfortable - with extra pillows and lovely crisp sheets. I also loved the free snacks and drinks from the cafe, bottles of water readily available and trays of apples on every floor. I was a bit skeptical of the walking tour, but It was great! Really enjoyable and I learnt so much about Mexico City. The guide covered the history, places to eat and places to shop. As for the location - this was my first time in Mexico city, so I cant compare with ay other parts of the city but it felt really central and convenient with loads of cafes, convenience stores and shops within easy walking distance. It also felt very safe although I didn't venture out late in the evenings. Overall can't fault this hotel - loved every part of it.

Best view over the Zocalo. Staff is extremely helpful. Abraham the bellboy is the BEST advertising the hotel can wish for , when he greet visitants at the entrance, Food on the covered / open terrasse restaurant is vey tasty & at reasonable price. I highly recommend the red snapper / Huachinango. It's a joy to be served by Humberto the waiter. Last but not least please use their Taxi service - José Manuel (Pepe) the driver knows his way thru the city & will pick you up right on time, if you have such an agreement with him.

Main Tower? the HSBC and Ritz are the highest buildings.

Main Tower? the HSBC and Ritz are the highest buildings. The restaurant in the Ritz [?43rd floor] is a great place for brunch with stupendous views over Chapultepec castle and gardens and all of Mexico City. Not to be missed.

The architecture along the Paseo is stunning.

The architecture along the Paseo is stunning. The funky and interesting design will make for an incredible walk along this street. It seems all the major corporations are in a vicious contest to see who can have the most dramatic and stunning building. If you have even a slight interest in architecture ( historic and/or modern) well welcome to candy land!
