Hotels near National Palace Mexico, Mexico City

Went to Ciudad de México for Xmas. This hotel is 2 blocks from the Zócalo where all the action happened. Easy walking distance from many sites and Xmas markets. It was my first time in Mexico City, and I was lucky to be so close. The Zócalo and its surroundings were incredibly clean. The hotel is small, cozy and comfortable, the staff on the desk, the housekeeping staff, were friendly. I was able to book a tour of Teotihuacán from the desk, which was very convenient. The restaurant served breakfast which was delicious, and the staff were friendly and eager to please, I was especially impressed by the waiter who had a Canadian family ordering food not on the menu. He spoke little English, but was working with them to get them what they wanted.

This hotel is in the heart of Mexico City. It is in a busy district with a small park across the road and a church across the street. The hotel is beautiful and definitely not a cookie cutter American style chain hotel. The restaurant was great food excellent. Rooms are large and clean

Berakfast is amazing at a wonderful location. 24 hour cafe is pretty good option to get food and driks whenever you want.

We felt very comfortable in this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the roof terrace is a great way to start the day. We would stay there again anytime.

Private double room was clean and very spacious

Very active hostel but also very clean and with nice large rooms and beds. People were nice, welcoming and engaged in conversation !! Great to meet people and to explore the city

Simple but clean room close to the main historic centre

The accommodation is located in the centre of Mexico City, which is known to be extremely chaotic. However, Colemena is located on a side street which is very quiet and full of trees. The place is very safe and has an entrance door and then another door for your room. It is very clean and when we entered the room it smelled as if it has been professionally cleaned for hours. The rooms were fully equipped with everything and very comfortable. The shower had good pressure and hot water. On the ground floor there was a very nice yard where you could sit down and have a coffee or read your book. Breakfast was also included in the price, but was not super varied.

everything was beyond expectations

We were looking for something different and different it was - a formal residential building a stonesthrow from Zocalo with a very unique design and with a terrace one would not dream of.

Great central location, good value room and friendly staff. Room was exactly as described, very clean with a comfortable bed, crisp cotton sheets, towels and a good television with Netflix. Room was newly painted and spotlessly clean with a neat little shower room and toilet adjoining. Would recommend.

An excellent location, with kind staff and a great selection of food. The hotel appears to be recently renovated, and we found it to be a very comfortable way to spend a few nights.

The hotel was centrally located and very convenient for local shops and cafes and restaurants.It was only a short walk from our conference centre. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and polite and the service was excellent. The hotel restaurant served delicious breakfasts and evening dinners if required and the choices on the menu were healthy and varied and good value. The hotel was within easy reach of public transport including the good metro service and buses. The hotel room provided everything necessary with ample wardrobe space with a useful safety deposit box of a good size with plentiful hangers and the bathroom was clean with good provision of toiletries.The hairdryer in the bathroom was in a perfect position in front of the mirror and was a good force.The electric sockets were good and the hotel WiFi allowed access to any service from all over the world unlike in other hotels I have stayed in. There were no restrictions. Television was provided in the room and the daily cleaning was impeccable. Very adequate mirrors were also provided and the desk was a good size and very useful. it was a great pleasure to converse with the staff in English and Spanish. It felt really great to talk to Mexicans in Spanish as they were so helpful understanding and kind. The hotel had a peaceful and calm family atmosphere. It took a little discovery to locate everything as I had not been to Mexico City before but I would return to the Azores for the location services friendly staff good food value for money and good communications with the rest of the world.

It was right in the city next to the Zocalo square, I liked the room as well with two beds it was decent.
