it was a night in the castle. The dinner was fresh and very tasty! Comfortable bed, lots of space in the room. Quiet place a few hundred meters from the highway.

A hidden gem only 25 minuts outside Amsterdam. This was the best hotel on our holliday. The staff was friendly and helpfull. We arrived about 20,00 and the kids got something to eat in the restaurant. The room and the indoor swimmingpool (1,4m) was very good after a long day in Amsterdam. Its a place to relax before going on the road again We will come back next time we go on holliday to Holland. .

Centrally located in IJmuiden, Hotel Velsen has free Wi-Fi. The A9 motorway and Ijmuiden’s beach are 10-minute drive away. Rooms at Velsen come with a cable TV and a private bathroom.

The hotel felt like we were visiting friends 🙂 Very attentive staff, comfortable and clean room, full breakfast and beautiful view from the window 👌 Near the hotel there is a restaurant, pizzerias, supermarket and shops. The next day we were allowed to leave our luggage. Very close to the ferry port, 20 minutes walk.

Harbour Hotel IJmuiden is situated in IJmuiden, within 28 km of Anne Frank House and 31 km of Vondelpark. This 3-star hotel offers free WiFi.

Right next to the ferry port! My father and I stayed here the night before we were due to get the ferry. While the reception is only manned part of the day, it's easy to get in touch with the staff via phone and WhatsApp. They even let us check in early as we had been caught in a rain storm (we are motorcyclists). The room was spacious and well equipped, including Netflix on the TV. This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and it won't be the last :)

Situated in IJmuiden, Hotel Rauw aan de Kade boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Lighthouse IJmuiden is 1,4 km away.
