Everything is fantastic, except for some details (see below). The staff is friendly, service is very fast and there is practically a 1:1 ratio of service staff to guests (not counting more staff in the kitchen, porters, gardeners etc.), so it is a place where the guests are very well taken care of.

Rooms are clean. Good view of Taal, but you have to be by the hallway to see it. Staff are friendly, except for the time when we were just cleared after checkout and they wanted to hold us because the staff didn’t find 1 of the hand towels. I had to tell them to check the toilet floor, where they eventually found it. I told them thst was a hassle as we were rushing for Sunday mass.

Pros - the place is near in market and 7'11 - quiet and peaceful - facilities are good - the food is super delicious - there's a problem in our room ac and they are responsive and they transfer us immediately. Our 2nd room is larger and more spacious than the 1st one - the staffs are nice

The property is just right at the heart of the city. They themed their rooms with all the favorite tourist destination countries, which is a creative plus. The room was clean, cool and comfortable. It’s complete with chinaware and cutlery. Mr. Manolito, the owner was very helpful and accommodating. He even suggested the best restaurants to try out around the vicinity. Our family had a great stay!

    We booked it on same day just an hour before check in and the owner responded right away. It was an instant booking. We even didn’t expect that it comes with a great view of Taal Volcano and their golf club with surrounding trees. it also has a clubhouse, with a pool, gym and children’s playground though you need to pay if you are booked from the residence rather than the their hotel building. Will definitely come back.

    The location is near many restaurants and grocery stores. The bed was the softest I have found staying anywhere in the Philippines. The view of the Taal volcano was fantastic when it was clear. Also the helper taking care of the condominium (Keets) was fantastic. She was very helpful and responded to every request. She went above and beyond to help us in every way!

    Taal Vista is a gem in Tagaytay and I’m glad I picked this hotel out of all the hotels in the area. It’s huge with beautiful gardens and breath taking views of Taal Volcano. I always love green spaces and this hotel did not disappoint. It’s also very rich in history and been there for almost 84 years. Shoutout to the hotel staff Fahad for assisting my grandmother move around in her wheelchair and for sharing bits of history with us about the hotel and volcano.
