The hotel is stunning. I was particularly impressed by the space and comfort of my room, with private onsen on the patio. Staff is very kind and helpful. Japanese restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced for the price. The spa is fantastic too. There isn't much to do on foot around, but people come there mostly to enjoy the facilities of the great resort. Free bikes to rent and at least 3 konbini on walking distance

Helpful and friendly staff, I particularly like the spacious and comfortable lobby, well decorated with Chinese antique, a quiet and comfortable library corner and a mini bar with free coffee and snack. My room was upgraded free to a deluxe family room, with good Mountain View. The free shuttle bus is convenient to commute to the train station. Everything in the room is clean and well-designed to suit the needs of a family with kids. Kids will never feel bored with the toys in the room and the children’s playroom on the third floor! Highly recommended for family vacations.

Breakfast was amazing - felt like a Japanese ryokan. The room was especially spacious and I loved the wabi-sabi vibes. Everything was minimalistic and chill. Totally my vibe and I wished more places paid such attention to their design. Loved the elevated platform to the bed, and the small table provided, etc. The toilet was spacious and nice too. Using the QR code was a nice addition for multiple people. However, the scanning for it sometimes required more time/effort.
